Our Founder, Denise Love, with Ali
Denise Love has been involved in holistic and alternative therapies for horses, dogs and people since 1980. She draws from her experience in evaluating equine lameness through years of training Standardbred racehorses and working with top veterinarians on the racetrack. She enjoys riding Dressage and spending time with her Friesian-X, Aliyah. Denise is a Reiki Master, certified Shiatsu and GuaSha practitioner, and Equi-Taper. Her work also includes equine sports massage, energy and skeletal balancing, and equine core strengthening. Today Starrider Equestrian has evolved into a place where tested and proven products used by Denise in her therapy practice is available to you.
Our Products
Through the years Denise has tested and used many different therapy products. The products offered here are products that she believes in and uses in her practice daily, and recommends to her clients to correct and repair issues with their horses. The Halo
The Halo
Starrider’s Newest product, The Halo, was launched in April 2021, we wanted to create a massage tool that was easy to use, portable, and worked for just about everything, and everyone. The tips of each of the three metal fingers are temperature controlled for desired heat. The Infrared Light increases blood flow, and reduces inflammation, while the three levels of vibrational stimulation improves muscular strength, power development, kinesthetic awareness, decreased muscle soreness, increased range of motion, and increased blood flow under the skin. There is a magnetic ring around each finger that increases circulation. Circulation is enhanced, since biomagnets are attracted to the iron in blood and this increase in blood flow helps healing. Since this tool is made for horses and their riders, as well as dogs and cats, it allows owners to feel first-hand how it can help their animals, as much as it helps themselves.
